Breast cancer is personal. It affects people we love, families, friends and communities across Canada. This year, over 31,000 Canadians will receive a breast cancer diagnosis. And while research has led to remarkable progress, there are still gaps in early detection, treatment, access to care and life after treatment.

Breast Cancer Canada fuels progress, funding research in 34 labs across the country to help us better understand the more than 50 types of breast cancer, develop more precise treatments and improve outcomes for people living with and beyond the disease.
